A deadly threat hangs over a city of Ardaigne, but will a single Master Inquisitor be enough to stop it? Since its foundation, the city of Anderion is under the protection of the priests of the Red Dragons. When the moon is full, they recite the sacred verses from their ancient grimoire to prevent the awakening of the Dragons. But when the priests are found dead and their grimoire destroyed, Noriav of the Order of the Mages, asks for the help of Aronn, a young Master Inquisitor. Thanks to his power, Aronn can take Eliezer the Madman, who wrote the original grimoire, out of his prison of Gottland and return him to Anderion: he is the only one capable of saving the city of dragons.
